Toot Toot!

That's me tooting my own horn, in case you're wondering. :)  I had a particularly good lesson today, by the grace of God!  I was still pretty wiped out from our Thanksgiving festivities.

My teacher gave me a compliment, which isn't all that uncommon, but I think that I really earned this one, so I want to have it down somewhere so I can look at it and remember that I am improving.  Today after talking in Russian for almost an hour, she said (in Russian, so I'll translate it for you),

Cristy, look how long we have been talking, almost an hour, and you have made only 2 mistakes.  You also construct your sentences very well.  Rarely do your sentences sound like you're thinking in English.

Yep, I was pleased!  Praise God, the One Who can take a stammering, soft-spoken, often timid person like me and make me speak so well, even if just for an hour!
